Jessica is passionate about sustainability and works to apply that framework to every aspect of life and work. She has a long background in operations management, and newly discovering and exploring the textile recycling industry has been an incredibly rewarding experience. When she’s not running out for a pickup from one of our amazing retail partners, she is actively pursuing new ways to increase circularity and spur local collaborations between Better Earth and artists, crafters and manufacturers of repurposed textiles. Her goal is to grow Better Earth into a partner of change from the ground up - spreading the word about the joy of reuse and removing the stigma that can sometimes be attached to used textiles. She is partial to handcrafted items that are sometimes donated (her stack of hand-knitted sweaters and embroidered tablecloths is quickly growing) and is on a mission to find the perfect stain-removal process for well-loved clothes and linens.
